9 of 9 people found the following review helpful  Great looking desk, couple of issues, June 3, 2009 first off, i recieved this product pretty fast but when i did the desk top had a large crack, i was able to contact customer service at 9:00pm to get a replacement sent to me. this part took about a week to get, in the mean time my computer room was trashed waiting for this part. i also have a screw that came out from one of the drawer fronts so when i open it one side hangs down, but nothing a little glue wont fix. but all in all i am satisfied with the this desk functions and looks Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you?

Unlike most orders, I never received a 'shipped' notification, so I was very surprised when returning home from work to see the box sitting on my porch. This is not a complaint. I will note the the item is heavy, and not very easy to move by one person. I opened it outside, and brought the pieces in individually. I've seen in several reviews that the assembly of this desk is complicated. I disagree. Everything is labeled clearly. The instructions are all diagrams which are very easy to follow. If you're an organized person, this is not a difficult task, but does require about four hours to complete. You could use a helper at times, but I managed quite easily on my own. I feel the quality of the desk is very good. Alignment of the drawers is accomplished quite easily in a minimum of time. The desk certainly fulfills my need, and the purchase was a great value. This desk looks fine after it is put together, (loads of fun)However if you try to move from the space you built on. it will self destruct in seconds. Made of cheap pressboard and easy fall out screws, it is very functional and looks nice. You can easily scratch it with your finger nails.
